Maag Pump Systems, a world leading manufacturer of metering gear-pumps, have developed a new range of small gear-pumps for the chemical industry: the pump types flexinox\u2122 (FX) and dosix\u2122 (DX). The driver to develop this new range was to make a chemical pump range with a wider flow rate and reduced costs and increased benefits for the users.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Pump types that are phased out<\/h2>\n

The flexinox\u2122<\/a> (FX) and dosix\u2122<\/a> (DX) pumps will eventually replace the cinox\u00ae & therminox\u00ae<\/a> pumps in the sizes 22, 28, 36 & 45. Other pump sizes remain available.
\nThe internal parts of the flexinox\u2122 are identical to those of the cinox\u00ae & therminox\u00ae pumps, so spare parts are unaffected by this new development.<\/p>\n

3-piece design allows for easy servicing<\/h2>\n

The new gear pumps will be much easier to service due to a 3-piece design for the housing. This means that the housing is separate to the front cover allowing for easier removal of the bearings. This was always a challenge with the older cinox\u00ae & therminox\u00ae pumps.<\/p>\n

New pump for smaller flow rates for accurate dosing<\/h2>\n

The new dosix\u2122 pumps have smaller displacement volumes (lower flow rates) than the traditional cinox\u00ae & therminox\u00ae pumps. The DX pumps are available in sizes 14 and 20 with a smaller pump still in development. These new DX pumps are specially designed for accurate dosing applications and available with modified gears for higher volumetric efficiency in case of low viscosities at high differential pressure.<\/p>\n
